Totnes Castle

Week 2, Day 3 and we are off to Totnes Castle much to Alina’s delight.  She has wanted to visit Totnes Castle for so long.  As we shared in a previous post we brought an English Heritage Membership and we were planning to go to Tintagel Castle but we could not get a booking in time.  We have instead booked to go to Pendennis later in the week.  As Totnes Castle  is so much more local to us and due to how much Alina wanted to visit we thought we would squeeze this one in first.

The Views are Breathtaking

The views were breathtaking.  The girls really enjoyed walking around the dry moat and finding out what role it played.  They also read all about the the Bailey and the Shell Keep.  They had very lengthy discussions about the toilet area which made all of us laugh. 

We all found it really interesting and highly recommend visiting.

Mark Meditating

After we got back we had another Cosmic Yoga Meditation Sessions which Mark joined in. To be fair he did not really have a choice, Soraya even insisted on holding his hand throughout!
