Iveco Daily Van Conversion Week 1
Iveco Daily Van Conversion has started! Week 1 and here is what we have achieved so far.
Firstly, I feel the need to give you a bit of background. If you have not come across us before Mark and I decided we were going to sell our possessions. Buy a van. Convert it into a tiny home on wheels to travel the UK with 4 of our 5 children.
So, we are on a tight budget. Why is this important to know?
Because it dictates many of our purchase which dictates our layout.
The biggest topic of conversation is whether we have 3 seats in a row behind the drivers seats or a 2 x 2. Meaning 2 rear facing and 2 forward facing.
Before we could crack on with that though we had some prep work to do. Or more like un-work. Yep, we needed to remove some of what the previous owners had laid down. It is always hard when you are removing another persons hard work but we needed to do this to be able to get the van to how we needed it.
One of the biggest issues we have is, we just want to crack on. But before we can do one section, we need to do another or at least know how it is going to be laid out.
Until we have the seats sorted out we are a little bit in limbo. I did manage to get he floor battens and vapour barrier up though so we could start re-prepping the floor and adding the battens to where need them for our layout.
Join us in Week 2 so see how far we have got with our Iveco Daily van Conversion.
