Growing
Our First Strawberries: A Delicious, Fresh Beginning

We don’t have a big garden, yet we have just picked our first strawberries. This small moment has encouraged us to rethink how we use the space we have available in our outdoor area, aiming to grow more of our own produce in the lighter, sunnier corners.
To make the most of the garden space and be able to grow some of our own food we embraced vertical gardening. This shift enables us to organise containers, shelves, and climbers around available walls, freeing ground space for herbs and compact crops.
I had planned on making this about 3 years ago now (better late than never!). Additionally, the vertical strawberry planter is made from guttering and is suspended using wire.
If something intrigues you, the following video explains it.
Additionally, the video shows how we made it.
The Strawberries are so sweet
The things I love about growing your own food are the taste difference. It also matters that there are no pesticides or chemicals used.
Moreover, Strawberries are incredibly full of flavour and sweet. As Alina put it, they are de-licious 😂
Alina has been keeping a keener eye on the Strawberries than on the birds.
Additionally, she is excited to be the first person in the family to taste them.
Thanks to all of the rain, many of the items we have been growing. Moreover, they have really taken off.
